Oman’s national carrier, Oman Air has added new flight destinations in Europe. This is as part of the codeshare agreement with Europe’s largest airline, Lufthansa.
Flights to 5 popular European cities will start being in operation as from October 27th. Oman Air, as per the new agreement will be able to offer flights with destinations to Munich and Frankfurt, and then connect to Amsterdam, Dublin, Helsinki, Oslo and Warsaw.
Moreover, Oman Air, together with Lufthansa will continue offering flights to Barcelona, Brussels, Madrid, Prague and Vienna.
The latest agreement now lists a total of 24 European destinations being offered by Oman Air. Oman Observer reports that the national airline offers non-stop flights to 10 cities as well as allows guests to connect with 14 other destinations in Europe, through partnerships.
CEO of Oman Air, Abdulaziz Al Raisi explained, “Our relationship with Lufthansa is very important for Oman Air, and we are delighted to offer our valued guests even better connectivity in Europe. We are sure the guests will find the award-winning services of Oman Air and the legacy services of Lufthansa to be a truly rewarding experience.”
He added, “Strategic codeshares are a crucial way for us to broaden customer choice and make it easier for business and leisure travellers to reach the sultanate and beyond.”
